Frequently Asked Questions

ABOUT OUR SERVICES

What type of oil does Lube & Go use?
Lube & Go uses both a synthetic blend and a full synthetic.

What is the difference between synthetic and conventional oil?
Synthetic oil is not only refined but also distilled, purified, and broken down into its basic molecules. This process not only removes more impurities from the crude oil but also enables individual molecules in the oil to be tailored to the demands of modern engines. These customized molecules provide higher levels of protection and performance than conventional oils. Simply put, synthetic oils offer higher levels of protection and performance, which usually enables longer oil change intervals than conventional motor oil.

How long can I go between oil changes?
We suggest 3,000 miles between Standard oil changes and 5,500 miles between Premium oil changes, which feature full synthetic motor oil. To help you remember, we place an oil change reminder sticker in the corner of your windshield upon completing every oil change. If your car is under warranty, we always recommend following factory recommendations or your vehicle’s oil life monitoring system.

Does Lube & Go oil change include a new oil filter?
Yes, all oil changes include replacing your vehicle’s oil filter.

Does Lube & Go oil change include topping off of fluids?
Yes, we top off windshield washer fluid for all consumer oil changes.

Do you reset my vehicle’s oil change reminder lamp?
Yes, we reset your vehicle’s reminder lamp and place a reminder sticker in the corner of your windshield upon completion of the oil change.

You are always in control. If our technician finds that your car needs additional repair services, our technician will provide you with an itemized list of what you need. You can decide to accept or decline those other services.

Why is a credit card required to book an appointment?
A credit card prevents people from making fictitious appointments and ensures that the technician is not wasting his time driving around. We use bank-level security, and all your data is filtered through a secured 256-bit encrypted connection.

Do you carry proper liability insurance?
Yes. The technician carries commercial general liability insurance for services performed.
